The Cheetah Gym health club chain announced Wednesday that it has closed all of its locations due to what the owner calls “employee theft and graft.”
Gym owner David Wilshire said in a letter to members that the staff at the gymnasiums had stolen from him, and staffers involved in perpetrating scams that “ran the gamut.”
While Wilshire wrote he believed he was the only victim of theft, he advised members to “get fraud protection as a precaution.”
