A survivor of a crash that killed two teens and police are making their first comments about an accident that’s put pressure on the Gary Police Department for the way officers responded to the scene.
Driver Darius Moore said he and his friend, DeAndre Anderson, begged police to look for their other friends who were thrown from the car, but police say Moore and Anderson had been drinking alcohol and gave confusing information.
